Viswam - An Artist of Abstract Illusion
Viswam is Indian abstract painter, He was born in 1950, in Keelavannam, Ariyalur, Tamil Nadu.
Viswan’s paintings may depict one or more elements of nature painted in Abstract forms. Sea scapes, skyscapes, landscapes, the turbulence of water, forces of nature. His paintings are created with Oil on the canvas where Viswam fleshes out many aspects of nature, by applying coloraturas directly on the canvas which he considers palette, in sweeping vertical, diagonal stores of brush and merging, highlighting them to obtain new colours and forms.
Viswam possesses a very energetic and outgoing persona, which is aptly reflected in his attention-seeking vivacious brush-strokes. His moments of truth come into being through his oil-on-canvas abstract works, as he experiences an incomparable sense of absolute freedom during the time of creation. Simultaneously, he attempts to capture the various temperaments of nature in his works.
